A Rant and some New Additions

Don't get me wrong, i love showing my legs. I have nice legs and i relish any opportunity to show them off. So what is my rant about you ask? Well...its becoming very obvious that hem lines are decreasing at an alarming rate. What happened to knee length dresses? Have they become too stuffy? Puritan? i really want to know. I am about 5''9 without heels so finding a dress that hits my knees is becoming an exercise in futility. I don't understand why these stores feel the need to make short dresses/skirts. Oh well. I guess i should even be happy there is a Tall section in some stores. I really don't feel like wearing leggings with everything.

Onto more exciting things...i have always wanted a pair of leopard print flats so when i saw this pair on the Urban Original website, i knew i had to have em.

I also got these Black Oxfords

And last but not least is this Quilted Bag in cream. Always wanted a bag like that.


I recently added a pop of color to my closet with this Fuschia Coat from Dorothy Perkins


Speaking of color, i love Solange Knowles and her outfit choices are always a WIN in my book. I especially love the fact that she doesn't shy away from color, she embraces it. Just like me :D

Before i forget, i recently started a store using Big Cartel. I just have few items on there right now but i intend to add more as my closet cleansing continues. Shoes Shoes Shoes

I have a lot of shoes and i will be the first to admit that. What i don't have are shoes i can wear to work everyday. So during winter time, you will see me in boots, boots, boots and come summer time you will find me rocking sandals and flats. Heels make the outfit. A little height goes a long way in changing the tone of the "fit and i need to rectify the whole flat boots, sandals and flats situation. I have nothing like kitten heel pumps cos for some weird reason, all i ever seem to buy are shoes with 3inch heels and above and i know i am not about to start walking around work with 3 inch heels on. So i have decided to start selling off some of my high shoes. I barely wear them unless i am going to church or to some get together. How many outings can i go to on wknds? That will require me to wear heels? Yeah...not a lot. So its time for a shoe makeover.

I like the heels on these shoes and i know i can walk around in them all day without feeling like my toes are about to explode. I will probably be listing my shoes on ebay or try some other medium. We shall see. :)

Hello all!

Yeah i have been MIA. That happens when you are trying to balance full time school and work. The devil is a liar sha. I will get there. Happy belated thanksgiving to all my readers (visible and invisible). I am currently in the process of moving out and i find that i have a lot of clothes that i have never worn before. Why do i hoard so much? I guess i cant help buying beautiful things when i see them. Yes, this post should have happened yesterday but what the heck...as long as i get it done right? So here is my wish list. I wish i could buy all of em at once but i dare to dream.
